Innovative Diabetes Quality Improvement Grants

New BBDC- QUEST Funding Opportunity

The BBDC has created a new funding opportunity for healthcare professionals for innovative quality improvement (QI) projects related to diabetes. The program will provide grants of up to $10,000 per application for projects which are a maximum of one year in length. It is intended to support scholarly and innovative research initiatives in quality improvement in diabetes care and/or patient safety in diabetes care.

To be eligible, the principal applicant must be a healthcare professional working full-time at a University of Toronto fully affiliated, community affiliated, or TAHSN affiliated institution. Examples of eligible applicants include clinicians, clinician-scientists, surgeons, nurses, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists and others working in diabetes care. The principal applicant must be able to hold a research grant as a principal investigator at their hospital/institution.
