New BBDC- QUEST Funding Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n The BBDC has created a new funding opportunity for healthcare professionals for innovative quality improvement (QI) projects related to diabetes. The program will provide grants of up to\u00a0$10,000<\/strong>\u00a0per application\u00a0for projects which are a maximum of one year in length. It is intended to support scholarly and innovative research initiatives in quality improvement in diabetes care and\/or patient safety in diabetes care.<\/p>\n To be eligible, the principal applicant must be a healthcare professional working full-time at a University of Toronto fully affiliated, community affiliated, or TAHSN affiliated institution. Examples of eligible applicants include clinicians, clinician-scientists, surgeons, nurses, dietitians, social workers, pharmacists and others working in diabetes care.\u00a0The principal applicant must be able to hold a research grant as a principal investigator at their hospital\/institution.<\/p>\n
